Website

Today we called a group meeting to discuss the content of the website. We created a mind map to show what we decided. Our website will include:
-Movie Poster (and release date)
-'Meet the production team' (short biographies about us and our roles)
-Screensavers
-Characters - short biography of the two characters will give the audience an insight into their personality and interests which isn't clear in the animation.
-Colour scheme - This will consist of bright colours, as this generally evokes a good mood.
-Gallery - behind the scenes photos.
-Production blog
-Music/sound effects
-About the film - a short synopsis of the film.
-Interactive
-Trailer?
-One prominent image (being displayed on the homepage)

After we decided on what content we wanted on our website, I was assigned to create it. I started by creating possible movie posters in Adobe Photoshop. Below are 3 of my favourite that created. The one that will included in the website is the green one, which will be situated on the homepage. This is because it uses bright colours, that creates a less serious vibe and happy emotion. The characters arms are silhouettes which represents the two characters in the animation. By looking at this poster, it clear that the story refers to a romance, but it doesn't give anything away so it aspires anticipation.

After the movie posters were completed, I started creating the website itself. I set up an email account for the production team (notevenafraid@hotmail.co.uk), then created an account on a website called 'Wix' which is a free website builder that is clear and easy to make. Below is a screen shot of my first draft.
